How does the live painting process work?

I will set up on site and aquire images of your guests, no need to wait on line to be painted!
Guests can come by later to receive their portrait

as soon as I have images, I'll get started creating a one-of-a-kind piece for your guests to cherish.

Do you offer custom framing for the portraits?

Framing is not provided, however, portraits will be placed carefully in a protective sleeve for transport home. 

Can I request specific details in the live wedding paintings?

Absolutely! I am open to work with you to ensure that the live wedding painting reflects your vision and preferences!

How many guest portraits are completed during the event?

I typically complete approximately 4–6 portraits per hour, depending on the number of people in each portrait, outfit details, and the flow of the event.

I paint throughout the reception and complete as many portraits onsite as time allows. Every guest who signs up is guaranteed a portrait — any portraits not completed during the event are carefully finished in my studio afterward and mailed to the guest at no additional cost.

Because each portrait is individually hand-painted, Brush & Vow is designed to offer a personalized keepsake for your guests rather than a high-volume, quick-sketch experience.

Are your packages all-inclusive?

 

Yes! My packages are designed to be simple and transparent, with no surprise fees. Your package includes the live guest portrait experience, guest sign-up and photo coordination, all standard art materials, an assistant, and studio completion of any portraits not finished during the event. Every guest who signs up is guaranteed a portrait, and unfinished portraits are completed in my studio and mailed afterward at no additional charge.

A few optional additions may have an additional fee, such as custom printing/personalization on the watercolor paper (names, wedding date, monogram, crest, etc.), specialty packaging or upgrades, and travel outside my standard service area. Any additional costs are always discussed and approved before booking — never added unexpectedly.

Can the portrait paper be personalized for our event?

Yes! Custom printing can be added to your watercolor paper, including your names, wedding date, monogram, crest, or other event details. This is an optional upgrade and is priced separately based on the design and quantity needed
